“The Spirit of St. Louis is a wonderful plane. It’s like a living creature, gliding along smoothly, happily, as though a successful flight means as much to it as to me, as though we shared our experiences together, each feeling beauty, life, and death as keenly, each dependent on the other’s loyalty. We have made this flight across the ocean, not I or it.”
The “Spirit of St. Lois” is the name of the aeroplane in which Charles Lindbergh was the first man to fly across the Atlantic solo on May 20th in 1927. Spirit of St. Louis as a brand represents adventure, pioneering and travel. The brand name belongs to the Polyconcept Group and the collection initially consisted of lighters and pens mainly destined for the retail market. The collection expanded into audio, electronics, telephones, clocks and outdoor products. Part of this collection now also features in PF Concept’s business to business promotional collection. |
